CCS Switches All Chemicals To Hospital-Grade Disinfectant

Until further notice, all surface area cleaning chemicals have been replaced with our hospital-grade disinfectant, with the exception of floor chemicals, which will remain the same, preventing slips and falls.

The Go® HDQ® C2 Disinfectant is a neutral quat disinfectant cleaner formulated to kill a broad spectrum of microorganisms.

*Confirmed zero shortages in future stock

*All chemicals are produced in the U.S.

CCS Leaders Attend GBAC's Cleaning Coronavirus Webinar

To address the international COVID-19 outbreak, the Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC), a division of ISSA, hosted a special two-part webinar series “How to Clean and Disinfect for the Novel Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2”.

Biorisk experts demonstrated how to properly clean facilities and work spaces when responding to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

What is A coronavirus?

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that are known to cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).

What is a novel coronavirus?

A novel coronavirus (CoV) is a new strain of coronavirus that has not been previously identified in humans.

Are the chemicalS you are using effective against the Corona Virus?

The disinfectant cleaners that CCS uses meet all the requirements that the EPA has established for emerging viruses such as COVID-19.  Fortunately this virus is not as difficult to inactivate when compared to other microorganisms that we encounter on a daily bases.

How frequently should the high touch areas in my facility be cleaned?

The short answer is to disinfect as often as possible or your budget allows. Having said that, three times per day, and once at night is a realistic option for most clients who have a day porter at their site. This often requires shifting some of the day porter’s duties from items that have a lower priority. We work with clients all the time when it comes to reviewing work schedules from an operational perspective.

Do you have a protocol in the event we confirm there has been an infected person in a specific area?

The protocols that we use are based upon what we learned during the GBAC Forensic Operator Training that we attended a few weeks ago. Their recommended protocols are based upon decades of real world, hands on experience.
