In continued celebration of our employees and how proud we are to have such amazing people on our team, we want to specifically honor two spectacular CCS employees for their outstanding integrity and character. A couple weeks ago we received an email from a customer that brought the hand to the heart with pride and humility. She graciously explains their exemplary behavior as follows,
Fullerton, CA
“The ladies who clean City Hall found a wallet in the men’s restroom on the first floor on Sunday. They brought it up to Susana in Community Development. Susana brought it over to me and we counted the money. Then, we checked through everything for a contact phone number. I ended up taking the wallet over to the Watch Commander and the guy picked his wallet up from the Police Dept.”
“Having said all that…”
“The owner of the wallet came by today asking about the ladies. He wanted to thank them and give them “gifts”…probably a reward. I told him I would pass on his contact information. There were credit cards, blank checks, a driver’s license and almost $1,700 in the wallet. He was really grateful to get it all back. If nothing else comes of it…it would be nice to let CCS know.”
What a true example of Integrity. In a world in need of more honesty and goodness, these two ladies stepped up to the occasion and showed great leadership. As C.S. Lewis was said to have written, “Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.” Well done ladies, for your honored integrity and good character.
