Former teacher Meghan Santella is elevating custodial services for educational institutions
Meghan Santella never expected her master’s in teaching to lead her into facility services, but the transition made sense to her once she joined CCS Facility Services in 2022. Shaped by her years at Notre Dame and the Alliance for Catholic Education, her ability to inspire people, speak with confidence, build thriving culture, and champion teachers now fuels her impact as CCS Facility Services’ Vice President of Education and Strategic Accounts.
After teaching elementary, middle, and high school students in Oklahoma, Meghan earned a place in the Fulbright Program to teach and conduct research in South Africa. When COVID delayed her departure, she moved to Colorado, determined to discover a path that blended her love for education with her business training. That search led her to CCS Facility Services, a company she had, without knowing it, lived beside, and one whose impact had been shaping Denver in ways she’d long admired without realizing the source.
Meghan started at the company as a sales trainer, bringing her classroom experience to a new kind of audience: adult learners. Her ability to connect, explain, and inspire quickly became evident, and she was eager to take those skills further. That curiosity led her into a sales role, where she introduced CCS Facility Services’ services to schools across Northern Colorado. Her inherent skill for building relationships and sharp business sense began to take root.
In 2024, she helped plant the company’s flag in Texas. At the same time, she continued traveling across the country, listening to educators’ challenges, and discovering ways to bring “The CCS Facility Services Way” to schools and universities nationwide. Through every partnership, she combined her love of learning with her talent for connecting people and ideas, turning challenges into opportunities for growth.
As CCS Facility Services grew, one need became unmistakably clear: a dedicated focus on education was needed, and Meghan stepped forward to build that division. Having lived the educator experience, she brings an authenticity that few others can: she knows what it feels like to walk into a classroom that hasn’t been cleaned properly, and how deeply that affects students, teachers, and the culture of a school.
“The impact of a clean school goes far beyond appearances,” said Meghan. “When facilities are maintained to high standards, it quietly supports focus, engagement, and consistent attendance.”
“It’s the kind of thing you rarely notice—until it’s missing. Cleanliness in schools is more than hygiene; it’s a cornerstone of student success.”
The launch of the Education Division was accompanied by Meghan’s promotion to Vice President of Education and Strategic Accounts, a title that reflects her extensive knowledge of the education sector.
“Having started as a teacher, Meghan has a unique perspective that blends educational insight with business savvy,” said Troy Coker, CEO at CCS Facility Services. “Since joining our company, she’s proven her natural ability to build relationships and create custom solutions that meet our clients’ unique needs.”
“Tapping her to lead and grow our Education Department was the natural next step, and we’re excited to see her bring the same passion to this role that has made her such a standout talent,” shares Coker.
Meghan holds a profound belief: the skills that drive success in the classroom translate seamlessly into the business world. The intuition honed from managing varying demands, building community, and inspiring people naturally evolves into the kind of leadership that strengthens the workplace in any industry.
Today, what excites her most is the momentum of the Education Department expanding with purpose across K-12 and higher education. With the heart of an educator and the instincts of a natural-born salesperson, Meghan is helping her shape an industry that touches millions while driving CCS Facility Services to new levels of impact on students nationwide.
